Kossack Melody Townsel is someone most of us of, uh, fine vintage remember from the bad old Bush days. She gained fame for revealing what an abusive prick John Bolton is when he was nominated as United States Ambassador (or insulter-in-chief) to the UN, by telling what must have been a painful personal story of Bolton going after her. She came here in the aftermath of that notoriety (if my increasingly porous memory serves) and has become a much-beloved Kossack. She's a Dallas resident (as I once was), and is a brave woman raising an outstanding daughter.
A serious car accident has left her with ongoing mobility challenges, and she needs this community's help and suggestions. She's just written a diary whose title illustrates her wry, brave humor.
